Mohanlal is playing the lead role in the movie L2 Empuraan directed by Prithviraj Sukumar. The latest movie starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is L2 Empuraan (Lucifer 2). Prithviraj Sukumaran is the other hero in this movie and directed it. This is the sequel to Lucifer which came out in 2019. The movie, which came out as a political action thriller, was a huge success. Chiranjeevi remade it in Telugu as Godfather and impressed. Now, after six years, the sequel is coming. It stars Abhinay Singh, Tovino Thomas, and Manju Warrier in important roles. The film, jointly produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, Sri Gokulam Movies Lyca Productions, is produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan. Dil Raju released the film in Telugu. The film was released today, Thursday (March 27). Let's find out how the film is. ..

Story: Jatin Ramdas (Tovin Thomas) is preparing for the Kerala state elections and wants to leave the party founded by his father PKR (Sachin Khedkar) and form his own party. However, Priyadarshini Ramdas (Manju Warrier), shocked by her brother's decision, joins her father's party IUF. As a result, the central party arrests her. Stephen (Mohanlal) steps in to resolve PKR's family feud. Why did Jatin leave the IUF party founded by PKR? What problems did Priyadarshini face? Why did Balraj alias Baba Bajrangi enter Kerala politics? Why did Stephen leave Nedumpalli? Where did he go? What kind of politics took place in the construction of the dam in Nedumpalli? What did Stephen do to protect his constituency? Who is Sayeed (Prithviraj Sukumaran), who is like a shadow to Stephen? Who did Saeed want to take revenge on? What finally happened to Jatin Ram Das? What is the role of Abram Qureshi (Mohanlal)? The story of the movie Empuraan answers the questions.

Analysis: This L2: Empuraan movie is a movie made by combining action, emotions, and politics. The movie followed the same path followed in Lucifer and played the game very safely. Mohanlal's dependence on elevations has become routine. Most of the movie was made to reflect Kerala politics. The entire story revolves around them. The political developments were thrillingly conducted. It was made to connect with the common audience. Manju Warrier's political activism entry was also impressive. However, there are many layers in the movie. The director failed to link them. One story has no connection with the other. That is what deviates the audience. The story shown in the beginning has no connection with the story of Lucifer. It seems that the respective scenes were put in just for Prithviraj's character. Also, the dialogues are a big minus. The naturalness has been lost by translating Christian words into the original. They are understandable only to those who follow Christian. In this regard, Telugu Nativity should be followed. On the other hand, the suspense in the characters of Stephen and Lucifer also creates some confusion. Scenes that take place abroad and scenes that link to local politics also create some confusion. There is some confusion in the story and narration. There is a doubt whether the front and back screenplay will confuse the normal audience. The length is a bit of a minus for this movie. Action lovers, Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran fans, and those who like Lucifer will definitely like this movie. This movie starts with a huge action episode in Iraq and creates interest. Then Prithviraj Sukumaran showed the heart-wrenching episode of communal riots in 2002. He gave a huge hint of what he was going to say as a director with a long episode. But he stretched the first half and at one stage tested patience. But he showed his talent in scenes and big episodes without getting bored. He introduced the character of Abram Qureshi against the backdrop of Kerala politics and conspiracies abroad and increased interest in the second half. In the second half, he told the story juicyly with Kerala politics without stretching. Although inheritance politics and fights for office are routine.. the character of Stephen alias Qureshi who wraps up that point revolves. Prithviraj did his job with twists and turns in the story, along with heroism and elevation. However, when it comes to Part 2.. the lack of any strong, new point seems to be a minus. It seems that he has tried to increase curiosity by giving a good elevation episode for Part 3. When it comes to the actors.. balancing all the characters in the film.. designing the appropriate characterization for each character has become the beauty of this film. Mohanlal's character made an entry at a time when the scenes were becoming routine and tried to give a high to the story. Mohanlal acted heroically and soberly without diminishing his image. Jatin and Manju Warrier also performed in a way that made the film strong. Manju Warrier was the main character.. The political entry episode became crazy for the film. At the end, they planned to show heroism in Prithviraj Sukumaran's character through Saeed's character and make the film perfect. Aamir Khan's sister impressed with her performance in the religious episode. Karthikeya Dev scored full marks with good acting. As for the technical experts, the background score provided by Deepak Dev and the cinematography by Sujith Vasudev are the highlights of this film. The action episodes shot abroad are of a high standard. It seems that some strict action should have been taken in the matter of editing. The length of the first stop seems too long. If some care had been taken in that regard, the pace of the film's story would have increased. The production values are in the high range. The choice of actors and the selection of locations have brought richness to the film. Prithviraj Sukumaran directed this as a continuation of the film Lucifer' that came out six years ago. The gist of this movie is how Jithin, who inherited the PRKR, went astray and tried to gain personal gain by corrupting the state, and how Lucifer and Priyadarshini Ram Das dealt with it. In the beginning, the communal riots of 2002 were shown. The injustice done to the Sayyad family at that time created attention in the story. The advance planning regarding Lucifer's entry and the way he created the political consequences that were to come is good. On the other hand, Mohanlal's entry scenes as Stephen were amazing. However, it seems a bit impatient that it took so long for his entry. It feels very dragged out. But Mohanlal's entry scene was amazing. It is special that his entry was so late that it felt like wow. Those scenes with huge action episodes were good. They stood out as highlights. On the one hand, Stephen's coming to end the mafia abroad, and on the other hand, the way he showed the unpredictable developments in Kerala politics was good. It was engaging throughout. In the interval, scenes related to Stephen were shown and created suspense. Curiosity was created with a twist. The way the twist is revealed in the second half is good. Scenes like Jithin being kidnapped and giving him a warning, and Manju Warrier becoming a key player in Kerala politics are goosebumps-inducing. `Lucifer movie mostly deals with local politics. There is connectivity. But in L2 Empuraan, Mohanlal's character is abroad. Why is he fighting? Clarity is missing as to what he is fighting for. In addition, the elevations are over. Every time Mohanlal makes an entry, the elevation is too much. Also, the action scenes and scenes in his character take place abroad, which reminds us of Hollywood movies and Bollywood action movies. The feeling of being human is missing. However, the stylish way they were made, and Mohanlal's character was even more stylish, was amazing. The twists in the middle were good. But it would have been better if the story had been driven closer to reality. The intelligent screenplay is also a bit of a problem. This movie seems to have forgotten its roots in the pan-India craze. It would have been better if they had given priority to the elements that mattered. It would have been better if they had at least balanced it. The villain role is also not strong. It would have been better if the movie had been driven with a simple story. But the stylish take is good. That alone is not enough for the audience.

Who did it: Complete actor Mohanlal's acting is not something to be mentioned. He is a top with his acting. In this, he impressed as Qureshi, Stephen, and Lucifer. There are elevations in a range that are as high as Poonakale. He impressed with settled acting for as long as he is there. He showed his strength in action scenes too. Even though he is seen less, the whole film feels like it. Prithviraj Sukumaran did not seem to be comfortable as Sayyad. Directing and acting in this is a big task. But he did it with ease. He made the characters bleed. Tovino Thomas impressed with settled acting as Jatin Ram Das. He showed different shades. His heights and heights as a politician seem interesting. Manju Warrier also impressed once again. She did a good job as a political leader and looked dignified. The twist she gave was amazing. As for Baba Bajrangi, Abhishek Singh impressed within the scope of his role. It can be said that the other roles were okay.

Technical department: Deepak Dev has composed music for this film. His music is a highlight. He has done a great job especially in the BGM. He has added a lot of fun with mass and stylish BGM. The background scope in the action scenes is wow. Editor Akhilesh Mohan seemed okay. He still needs to trim it for clarity. The story needs to be sped up. Sujeeth Vasudev's camera work is good. The lavish visuals are a treat to the eyes. Director Prithviraj... has already proven himself as a director. Now he has done his magic once again. He has made this film better than the first film. Mohan Lal has shown elevations in a range. The action scenes have been made a highlight. Care should be taken in the dialogues.
