Kesari Chapter 2 is generating a lot of buzz ahead of its release, especially after a special screening that had several celebrities and leaders sharing their thoughts on social media.

Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, penned an extensive review, calling the film "Kesari Chapter 2" a compelling and emotional tribute to India's fight for freedom and the heroes of the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy.

He described the film as a captivating story that immerses viewers in a courtroom drama where Akshay Kumar portrays lawyer Sir C. Sankaran Nair Ji, who skillfully unravels the lies surrounding the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre to reveal the truth. Puri emphasized that this film is essential viewing for every Indian and advocate for justice. He noted that this part of our history has long awaited its telling, and the powerful, unifying message of the film should resonate with all Indians nationwide.

Lakshmi and I had the honor of joining the talented actors @akshaykumar Ji and @ActorMadhavan Ji for a special premiere of this cinematic treasure, alongside Delhi CM Smt @gupta_rekha Ji, ministers Sdr @mssirsa Ji, Sh @KapilMishra_IND Ji, and Sh @ashishsood_bjp Ji, New Delhi MP Smt @BansuriSwaraj Ji, Moti Nagar MLA Sh @HarishKhuranna Ji, Kalkaji Councillor Smt @yogitasinghbjp Ji, senior leader Sh @ianuragthakur Ji, as well as various party leaders, diplomats, former colleagues, and friends.

Akshay responded, “I’m truly honored that you attended our film and organized a special screening, @HardeepSPuri sir. My whole team and I sincerely hope that the nation learns about the courageous efforts of C. Sankaran Nair. Rab raakha.”

Micromax founder and actor Asin's husband, Rahul Sharma, took to Twitter to share his thoughts: “We’ve all learned about Jallianwala Bagh in our history classes, but nothing could have prepared me for the reality I experienced today at the special screening of #Kesari2. Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa also commended the film. In a chat with ANI, he stated, "I urge everyone in Congress to watch this movie before the youth. They will realize the mistake they made by trying to erase the history of C Sankaran Nair..."
