The response to the trailer of debutant filmmaker Chandrajith Belliappa’s Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali has been quite phenomenal. The Rakshit Shetty production, which is set to be in theatres on September 5, is a love story starring Vihan, Ankita Amar and Mayuri Nataraja in the lead. Ahead of the film’s theatrical outing, the trailer, which gave audiences a peek into the world that Chandrajith has created, was dropped, and audiences can’t stop gushing over it.

In the film, Vihan plays Siddharth, a slightly hot-headed young aspiring cricketer, with the narrative following his relationships with the two leading ladies – Ankita and Mayuri. The trailer hints at a tragic end for the Vihan-Ankita arc, with Mayuri being the new lady in his life. But fans are still hopeful that Sid and Anahita (Vihan and Ankita) get their happily-ever-after.

Meanwhile, speaking at the trailer launch earlier today, Rakshit said that he’s already seen the film thrice and is excited about presenting it before audiences. Chandrajith, who has been with Rakshit’s Seven Odds team for many years, got to translate an old blog post into this film.

Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali is the second Paramvah Productions film to release this year, following Abhijit Mahesh’s Bachelor Party. The banner has films like Mithya and Strawberry, among others, pending for release. As for Rakshit, he is yet to announce the official start of his next, Richard Anthony, the prequel to Ulidavaru Kandanthe.
