Uorfi Javed's reality series Follow Kar Lo Yaar covers different facets of her life, ranging from family to entrepreneurship plans. The 9-episode series showcases a new side of Uorfi and her life beyond social media and paparazzi appearances.
Follow Kar Lo Yaar review:
Uorfi Javed's journey to being a paparazzi favorite is known to many. After a few TV shows and a reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 1, Uorfi took an unconventional route. She made outfits using every element possible and garnered the paparazzi's attention. At the same time, her unconventional fashion choices invited controversies and online hate for Uorfi. That's all we knew of Uorfi so far! But Follow Kar Lo Yaar dives deep into her life.
The 9-episode reality series majorly covers three aspects: Uorfi's family, her agency, and her entrepreneurship plans. Uorfi's equation with her mother and siblings comes to the forefront in Follow Kar Lo Yaar. She signs a new talent management agency to elevate her presence on social media and within the industry. And the most important thing, Uorfi wants to start a new business.
Follow Kar Lo Yaar's good part is that it doesn't highlight much about Uorfi Javed's social media presence and pap appearances. The reality series unravels the unseen vulnerable side of Uorfi. She has anger issues but is equally emotional. Her troubled past still affects her life decisions. But then, that doesn't stop Uorfi from being the bold personality she is!
The episodes where she makes candid confessions, attempts new things, and owns up to her mistakes are interesting to watch! Uorfi has big plans for her future. She has the guts to risk it all and achieve her big dream of being a successful entrepreneur. It isn't as easy as it may seem, but her courage is to be lauded. However, just like her life journey, Follow Kar Lo Yaar has a few bumps in between.
Uorfi 's happy moments with her family members - Urusa Javed, Asfi Javed, Dolly Javed, Sameer Aslam, and mother Zakiya Sultana - are heartwarming. But they go overboard with their endless fights and arguments. It seems a bit too forced into a series. The family drama diverts the series from its actual purpose. The sequences highlighting the personal lives of Uorfi's sisters seem unnecessary. The makers could have done away with it. Besides that, Follow Kar Lo Yaar fails to provide clarity on a lot of things as it tries to cover several aspects of her life.
Follow Kar Lo Yaar final verdict:
Having said that, Follow Kar Lo Yaar is an introduction to a new Uorfi Javed that people will see soon. The series is convincing enough to make us believe that she is more than just her paparazzi appearances. You can consider watching it this weekend!
