The internet users are in love with the bond between Han Suk-kyu's Detective Jang Tae-su and his daughter (Chae Won-bin's Jang Ha-bin). They were confused about the bond since she was always a suspect in the murder cases that were interlinked. But, with Tae-su promising Ha-bin that he would protect her changed everything. Netizens are in love with the very emotion.

The ending is the beginning

Users also pointed out the parallels in the introduction scene and finale scene of Doubt. The series started with distance and darkness. By the end, their distance shortened and things looked brighter for the remaining family members.

The communication gap leading to misunderstandings

The communication gap between Tae-su and Ha-bin was the main reason for the major misunderstanding between the father-daughter, who struggled with keeping their personal lives and professional lives separate.
