About Black Warrant
Black Warrant features Zahan Kapoor in the role of Sunil Gupta, a novice jailer who finds himself immersed in a system dominated by power and fame, where survival comes at a significant cost. Together with his two reliable colleagues, he confronts various obstacles and maneuvers through the challenging power dynamics and political landscape of Tihar Jail, dealing with some of its most infamous inmates.
Set in the 1980s, this series, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh, draws inspiration from the non-fiction work "Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer."
