The 1996 film Bharateeyudu 2, starring Kamal Haasan as the hero of freedom fighter Sevapathy's struggle against the accumulated corruption in the system, created a big sensation at that time. The audience was particularly impressed. Huge production values, Kamal Haasan's dual role and AR Rahman's music as the main attractions made it a huge success at the box office. As a result, a huge hype has been created on the now released movie 'Bharatiyadu 2'. The film opened today (July 12, 2024) on a massive scale. And let's know how this movie is.

Story : Chitra Aravindan (Siddharth) is socially conscious. He runs his own YouTube channel and informs people about the corruption happening in the society and makes them aware. An incident where a woman commits suicide for a job disturbs him. Aravindan's struggle to punish those responsible for it is futile. Deeply disappointed by this, he campaigns widely through social media for 'Indian' to come back. In this background, an Indian (Sevapati) staying in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, returns to India. He will put an end to some big babus who are involved in massive corruption. In the same order, he conducts his activities secretly by instilling awareness among the youth against corruption. In this background, Aravindan's father (Samudrakhani), who works in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, is also arrested on corruption charges. His wife, who is upset by this, commits suicide. Aravindan gets angry with Senapati who is the cause of such tragedy in his family. Will he start campaigning as Indian goback? What happened in this sequence? What are the reasons why the common people also turned against the general who promised to end corruption? What is the true purpose of an Indian? That is the story of the movie.

Analysis: In this movie, which has been thoughtfully establishing the accumulated corruption and injustices in the contemporary society, the movie has a huge cast, amazing visuals and huge action episodes as a special attraction of the movie. The highlight of the movie is the cartoon track which exposes the corrupt politicians and officials in the country. All in all, along with huge visuals, good emotions have also been shown well. Director Shankar has shown the shortcomings of the society very well. At the end, the shots revealed in relation to the third part are also good. The story of an old freedom fighter who fights against corruption in the movie All Ready Bharateeyudu 2 is very well done. Due to this, freshness is missing in terms of plot and characters in this sequel. Although the scenes are based on contemporary events, there is nothing new about them. This gives the feeling that the screenplay is going on very regularly. Likewise, some scenes were boring. Moreover, many scenes were established to expose the corrupt politicians of the country. There is awareness about that corruption. It will be interesting to see what the Indian will do about that corruption. But, in that sense, the fact that this movie does not last for a long time is a bit disappointing. Moreover, along with Kamal Haasan, the length of Siddharth's character in this movie is not good for the fans. Anirudh's music also did not go well. All in all, this movie went on with boring play and outdated scenes at some places. As in the first part, the director has mainly focused on the issue of corruption in this movie. As of today, no changes have been made in the system and corruption has become more organized, so Senapati enters the country with a new mission. The manner in which the story begins by showing the corruption incidents in the country and the irregularities in job appointments is impressive. But as we have seen similar incidents in the movie 'Bharateeyudu 2', there is no novelty in the screenplay. Contemporary issues are discussed but the manner in which they are presented seems routine. At the end of the movie, Senapati targets corrupt politicians and big businessmen and ends them in his own way. Director Shankar guided the story with those episodes for the first part. Mostly through conversations, Senapati tells people about his anti-corruption agenda. Although director Shankar's attempt to show the level of corruption in contemporary times seems to be good, the way those scenes are made does not seem new. In this movie too, Shankar tried to please the audience with his own level of grandiose productions and wonderful visuals. The way Senapati's debut scenes were shown in Taipei was good. As the story takes turns in the pre-climax moments, all the scenes become interesting from there. The highlight was the huge action episodes shot on Kamal Haasan. Kamal Haasan's looks and mannerisms will also please the audience. A twist in Ecclemax is sure to increase interest in the third installment. There are good emotions here and there in the story. Director Shankar tried to discover in his own way how organized corruption is in the country and what kind of action is required to eradicate it.

Who did it?... Kamal Haasan's performance does not need to be mentioned. Once again he did magic on screen in the role of Senapati. He became a one-man show with his own performance. Apart from Kamal's look and mannerisms, his action episodes are also very good. Also, the animation visuals of Breaking Dogs are also good. Overall, the film is visually grander. Siddharth is convinced in the role of Chitra Aravindan. Moreover, Siddharth has more screen time. SJ Surya brought life to his role as Sakalakala Vallavan Sarguna Pandian. Bobby Simha impressed as CBI Pramod. Rakul Preet Singh also impressed in the role of Disha. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar shines in her role. Samudrakhani also acted very well in another key role. Also, Vivek, Gulshan Grover and the rest of the cast also did full justice to their roles.

Technically.. The technical department work in the movie is very good. Anirudh Ravichander's music is not a plus for the movie. Ravi Varman's cinematography is the highlight of the film. The cameraman's work in some key scenes is very good. Editor A. Srikar Prasad Editing is good. The production values followed by Subhaskaran Alliraja, Udayanidhi Stalin, the producers of the movie are excellent. Director S. Shankar's direction is very impressive. In terms of writing, however, they were not impressed. This 'Bharateeyudu 2', which came amid huge expectations, has impressed Kamal's fans. Also, Shankar Mark's visuals and Kamal Haasan's acting are a plus for the movie. However, things like boring play, outdated scenes and lack of much story, and some scenes being regular are the minus points of the movie. Director Shankar has directed the film with his own style of grandeur. But it would have been better to focus more on the emotion in the story.
