Bhaje Vaayu Vegam Story

Two brothers, played by Karthikeya Gummakonda and Rahul Tyson, come to the city to make a living. One chooses cricket as his career, and the other aspires to become a software engineer. But both get cheated and end up doing odd jobs. This is when the brothers face an issue, as their father falls ill. They need 20 lakhs to save his life. The brothers hatch a plan and rob a don's car. But little do they know that the car is filled with crores of money, a dead body, and a mafia don after them. How the brothers manage to come out of this deadly situation is the storyline.

Bhaje Vaayu Vegam Review

Bhaje Vaayu Vegam was not well promoted by the makers, and that is why the audience was not very interested in it compared to the other two releases, Gangs of Godavari and Gam Gam Ganesha, which were released along with Bhaje Vaayu Vegam on May 31, 2024. But the moment you start watching the film with low expectations, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam surprises you with its twists and turns.

Prashanth Reddy makes his directorial debut with Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, and he excels in storytelling. Though he chooses a routine plot of two brothers committing a crime to save their dad and goons going after them, the best part of Bhaje Vaayu Vegam is the way he narrates the film with ample twists and turns.

The film starts on a dull note as the struggles of the brothers are narrated in a detailed manner. One gets a feeling when the director would et into the actual plot. But once the IPL betting episodes start, the film starts to get interesting. The manner in which a car becomes the key conflict in the film is handled quite cleverly by the director.

Right from the pre-interval block to the halfway point, a major twist is unleashed, setting up the tone for a racy second half. In the second half, the director, Prashanth, takes things to another level with his engaging narration. The twists that are unleashed during this time are superb and leave the audience surprised.

The tempo is maintained till the end, and the film ends on a very gripping note. Each character has proper justice, and most of the questions are answered properly. Coming to the performances, Karthikeya Gummkonda suits his character quite well. His screen presence is utilized superbly by the director, and Karthikeya is solid in the action department.

Happy Days fame, Rahul Tyson, makes a comeback after a long gap, and he, too, suits his tense character well. The chemistry between the brothers is also showcased neatly. Iswarya Menon plays the female lead and being a part of a major twist, she has nothing much to do in the film.

The main villain, Ravi Shankar, is solid in his role. His dark tone and deadly eyes bring out the bad guy in him superbly. With each film of his, Ravi Shankar is getting superb. The other supporting cast has done well in their roles. Bhaje Vaayu Vegam has a solid screenplay that is maintained properly from the beginning.

Radhan has composed the music which is quite ordinary as the songs only obstruct the flow of the film. The writing is the best part, as the director has made sure there is a twist for every half an hour. The production values, able camerawork, and editing only enhance the viewing experience.

Bhaje Vaayu Vegam Verdict

On the whole, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam might not be great on paper or as per the promos showcased. But it has meaty twists and turns that keep the audience engaged, making this film a decent thriller to give a shot this weekend.
