Ajayante Randam Moshanam Story - Chyothivilaku is a sacred light that was brought to Haripuram by its renowned warrior, Kunjikelu. It is revered there. Years later, Ajayan must carry the weight of his grandfather Maniyan's unfavourable image as someone who tried to steal the Chyothivilaku. Ajayan finds himself in a difficult situation when a stranger with ill intentions shows up unexpectedly on their land. This is his one chance to restore his family's reputation.

Ajayante Randam Moshanam Review - Those seeking a distinctive cinematic experience this holiday season will be struck by the way director Jithin Laal has skilfully incorporated all the essential elements of a good historical drama. Ajayante Randam Moshanam undoubtedly makes an impression with its well-honed acting and visually breathtaking moments, alongside a fictional story that never goes too far in making points seem unbelievable.

Kunjikelu, the famed warrior of Haripuram, receives the revered Chyothivilaku as a reward for completing a task given to him by the royal family. The residents of this village fervently respect the lamp. Legends around the region claim that years later, Maniyan tries to steal this sacred treasure and dies in the process. Despite being teased about Maniyan's awful reputation, his grandson Ajayan aspires to have a decent life in the village. But when a stranger with malicious motives shows up, Ajayan gets into trouble and has to discover the real reason behind his grandfather's quest for Chyothivilaku. This is Ajayan's one and only opportunity to pursue his romantic interest and restore his family's reputation.

The film's visually stunning sequences spanning three generations will not let anyone who chooses 3D down, even though OTTplay had the opportunity to watch the 2D version of the movie. With an enticing journey strengthened by fantastical elements, the makers have done justice to the genre without overwhelming the audience with confusion. They have also not ceased criticising caste prejudice and preconceived beliefs based on family history, either, which are still prevalent in our society today.

Tovino Thomas serves as Ajayante Randam Moshanam's backbone, fitting flawlessly into each of the three roles. He gives outstanding performances as the timid Ajayan, the cunning as well as fierce thief Maniyan, and the poised warrior Kunjikelu. Although his metamorphosis and portrayal as Maniyan will undoubtedly wow the audience, he deserves praise for his ability to effortlessly embody each of the three roles with varied body language and voice modulations.

The makers must also be commended for their choice of supporting actors. Actors Jagadish, Harish Uthaman, Basil Joseph, Krithi Shetty, Sudheesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi gave solid performances in their roles despite having limited screen time. Another fascinating aspect of the movie that gives the narrative just the right amount of energy and emotion is Dhibu Ninan Thomas' music. The visual effects boost the film's beauty as well.

Although the first half grabs the audience's interest right away, the second half may appear a little long, but if you enjoy occasionally seeing fantastical period dramas, you may overlook it.

Ajayante Randam Moshanam Verdict - This holiday season, Ajayante Randam Moshanam would be a cinematic feast with striking performances, especially by Tovino Thomas.
