I let it sit for 10 to 30 minutes before rinsing it out with lukewarm water. This habit of oiling has been a part of my life since childhood, which has been crucial for my dry, thick, and coarse hair. Without the professional styling I have received over the years, my hair would not appear as glossy and shiny.”

'Onion juice is excellent for the hair'

At 67, Dimple shared, “My special hair oil blend consists of almond and sandalwood oil as a base, enhanced with geranium, rosemary, and lavender essential oils. This is the wisdom I intend to pass on to my grandchildren – prioritize oiling your hair and refrain from coloring it... onion juice is fantastic for hair, but I believe that using onion extract oils available today is a safer alternative.”

Dimple emphasized the importance of a nutritious diet for maintaining healthy hair, highlighting the benefits of fish, which is rich in essential nutrients that support hair growth. She mentioned that growing up in a coastal region allowed her to consume a significant amount of fish, which greatly benefited her hair.
