Too Lazy for Skincare? This Expert’s 2-Minute Routine Could Transform Your Skin in Just 2 Months
11 days ago | 5 Views
Have you been slacking on your skincare lately? Are you just grabbing whatever products you can find whenever you feel like it? If so, it’s easy to feel like your skin health is beyond repair and just accept your skin problems. But don’t worry; there’s still hope! You can make a change in just two minutes.
Dr. Anthony Youn, a board-certified holistic plastic surgeon, shared a straightforward two-minute skincare routine on the Wellnessteps podcast. He even tried it out on a few people for two months, and they reported noticeable improvements.
He mentioned, “I’ve created a really easy skincare routine that anyone can follow. It only takes 2 minutes a day. We had people who hadn’t been taking great care of their skin, but they weren’t looking overly aged either. After two months on this routine, we took before and after photos and asked people online how much younger they thought they looked. On average, they appeared about 5 years younger!”
Quick and easy 2-minute skincare regimen that works wonders

Dr. Anthony Youn revealed his skincare routine, breaking down each step thoroughly:
- Start each morning by cleansing your skin according to your skin type. If you have oily skin, go for a foaming cleanser, while those with dry or sensitive skin should opt for a milky or hydrating cleanser.
- Next, apply an antioxidant or vitamin C serum.
- If you’re heading outside, don’t forget to put on at least SPF 30 sunscreen.
- In the evening, make sure to cleanse your skin again to get rid of makeup, dirt, and pollution. Even if you only wash your face once a day, make it a habit to do it at night.
- Also, in the evening, apply an anti-aging cream.
- Lastly, treat your skin to a gentle exfoliating scrub once a week if you have sensitive skin, or 2-3 times a week if your skin is normal.
It's never too late to begin your skincare routine
Navigating the vast array of skincare products out there can be pretty overwhelming, especially with each one claiming to solve different skin issues. With all this noise, you might find yourself stuck and not choosing anything at all, which is a common case of decision paralysis. Alternatively, you might only grab a product when the mood strikes, turning skincare into an occasional task instead of a daily habit. The good news is, you don’t need a shelf full of creams or a complicated routine to get started. Taking small steps makes it easier to stick with your routine and stay consistent, plus it helps you see results over time.
Just like Dr. Anthony Youn has made skincare simpler based on individual needs, you can also approach your skincare in a way that’s personal, straightforward, and free of clutter.
