Actor Sonnalli Seygall and her husband Ashesh L Sajnani celebrated the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Shukar, on November 27, 2024. Recently, the actor utilized her Instagram platform to highlight the benefits of Swiss ball exercises, emphasizing their effectiveness in enhancing core strength, flexibility, and balance during the later stages of pregnancy.

Sonnalli expressed that by integrating these exercises into her regimen, she successfully conditioned her body for a natural delivery. Emphasizing the advantages of exercise even in the ninth month of pregnancy, the actress noted the importance of adjusting one's routine to align with the body's evolving needs.

'Normal birth was one of my top priorities'

Sonnalli stated, “Engaging in Swiss ball exercises during the later stages of my pregnancy significantly facilitated the opening of my pelvis, contributing to a natural and normal delivery. Additionally, these exercises alleviated many of my lower back aches and pains! I highly recommend trying them.”

The actress further remarked, “Given the rising rates of C-sections, striving for a normal birth was one of my primary objectives throughout my pregnancy (with due respect to the instances when a Caesarean delivery is truly necessary and can be a blessing in those situations!).”

Sonnalli performed various exercises with the Swiss ball, including sitting and moving her hips side-to-side, which caused the ball to shift laterally, as well as circular movements combined with arm motions. She executed most of these exercises with confidence and ease, incorporating an up-and-down lifting motion of the ball as part of her eight-step workout routine.
