Shriya Saran stated, “For me, starting the day on the right note is crucial. I initiate my day with a brief skincare routine that keeps my skin feeling fresh and safeguarded. Cleansing is always the first step—I opt for a gentle cleanser to eliminate impurities and prepare my skin for the day ahead. If my skin appears oily, I choose a foaming cleanser, while on drier days, a cream-based option is more suitable. Following cleansing, I apply a lightweight moisturizer to retain hydration. And sunscreen? It is absolutely essential for me. It shields my skin from sun damage and aids in preventing early signs of ageing.”

Not using enough sunscreen: You might think you are safe to step out with just a little sunscreen on your face but that is where you go wrong. You need to apply at least a teaspoon on your face to protect your skin from the harmful rays.

Flawless skin does not necessarily require a complex regimen or extensive time commitment. It is fundamentally about maintaining consistency and adhering to essential practices. Shriya Saran stated, “A straightforward skincare routine, paired with a touch of daily self-care, can yield remarkable results. For me, the essence of beautiful skin lies in nourishing it with appropriate ingredients, ensuring proper hydration, and dedicating time to self-care—without making it overly complicated. The most significant change for me has been the way I nourish my body.”

2. Incorporating almonds into the daily diet  

Shriya Saran shared, “I have always maintained that radiant skin originates from within, and our dietary choices significantly influence that. One of my favourite foods for skin nourishment is California almonds. Rich in Vitamin E and healthy fats, they not only help maintain my skin's hydration and youthfulness but also offer protection against UVB damage, which is a primary factor in skin problems. The antioxidants found in almonds aid in anti-ageing, enhance skin texture, and ensure my skin remains at its best.”

She stated, "I ensure that a handful of almonds is part of my daily regimen. Whether I am enjoying them as a snack, adding them to my oatmeal, or incorporating them into my morning smoothies, their versatility is remarkable. Additionally, including almonds in my diet aids in protecting my skin from UVB rays, while also reinforcing its natural barrier and shielding it from the sun's detrimental effects, thereby maintaining a youthful and vibrant complexion."

For me, self-care encompasses more than just skincare; it involves caring for both my mind and body."

Staying hydrated is essential—I always have a water bottle with me and ensure I consume enough fluids throughout the day. Additionally, I take brief moments to stretch or simply breathe, which effectively alleviates stress and positively impacts my skin."
