Recently, she experienced a significant fitness transformation, attributing her success to dietary changes and the motivation she draws from those around her, including her husband, rapper Chaitanya Sharma, known as Cheeta, and her trainer.

Shweta frequently shares insights into her fitness regimen on social media, disclosing that she has been engaging in a demanding workout routine while adhering to a strict no-sugar diet to maintain her dedication and health. Reflecting on her approach to fitness, she stated, “For me, fitness transcends the physical; it’s fundamentally a mindset. This realization has come from understanding that fitness is about showing up, taking that initial step, and following through.”

‘I have given up sugar

The Masaan actor stated, "I am fortunate to have many supportive individuals around me, such as Cheeta and my trainer, who remain dedicated, which motivates me. Regarding my diet, similar to others, I prefer not to engage in any trendy eating habits. For instance, I have eliminated all types of artificial sugars, and this minor change has made a significant difference for me."

Furthermore, Shweta shared that her trainer and fitness partner, Tridev, has encouraged her to train with the discipline and agility of an athlete. She noted, “My fitness regimen is primarily focused on enhancing strength and agility. This is our main priority. We incorporate weight training, complex movements, and work on strengthening every muscle group.”

According to a report from Harvard Health, excessive consumption of added sugars poses a significant risk for cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Frank Hu, a nutrition professor at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, emphasizes that “The consequences of high added sugar intake—such as elevated blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain, diabetes, and fatty liver disease—are all associated with a heightened risk of heart attacks and strokes.”
