"Dancing will always hold a special place in my heart! It not only provides an exceptional workout but also brings immense joy. I firmly believe that fitness should be enjoyable—when you are passionate about what you do, it never feels burdensome."
What she eats before a workout
Shriya underscores the significance of nutrition prior to exercising. "Consuming food before a workout is crucial to ensure I have adequate energy without feeling overly full. I prefer a light yet nourishing option—my favorite pre-workout snack is a banana accompanied by a handful of almonds. Almonds, rich in 15 essential nutrients, including protein and healthy fats, offer sustained energy, while bananas deliver a quick carbohydrate boost."
When time permits, she relishes the opportunity to prepare a nutritious smoothie. "I enjoy blending almonds, berries, and flaxseeds into a smoothie. It is refreshing, packed with nutrients, and easy to digest before a workout," she adds. Hydration is equally vital for her. "I always ensure that I drink plenty of water before commencing my exercise session."

In conjunction with these meals, I ensure that I remain hydrated by drinking water throughout the day, and occasionally I opt for coconut water to replenish electrolytes after an intense workout.”

"To me, fitness revolves around consistency, making thoughtful choices, and appreciating the journey. I do not subscribe to deprivation; instead, I concentrate on wholesome, nourishing foods that energize my body and enhance my well-being." Whether it involves staying active, eating healthily, or ensuring adequate rest, balance is what enables me to feel my best," she remarks.
