Dr. Li stated, “Matcha is among my preferred methods of consuming green tea. We are familiar with traditional green tea, which is typically prepared by steeping tea leaves in hot water, allowing the polyphenols and catechins to dissolve into the liquid. As you drink it, you benefit from these compounds, which activate brown fat to help reduce harmful white fat. However, matcha surpasses regular tea bags in potency because it consists of the entire tea leaf ground into a fine powder. This means you receive 100 percent of the polyphenols; nothing is left behind in a teabag. Additionally, the dietary fiber present in matcha supports a healthy gut microbiome. Therefore, if you seek a rich source of polyphenols from tea, matcha is the ideal choice. It provides both fiber and the full spectrum of polyphenols, making it exceptionally effective in reducing harmful body fat. Evidence of its fat-burning capabilities is reflected in its ability to decrease waist circumference; studies conducted by researchers in Japan have shown that regular consumption of matcha can lead to a reduction of an inch in waist size.”

The best solution is to incorporate it into a smoothie or shake; it will blend seamlessly into the background. This is the easiest method.”
