She mentioned, “I’m very proud to say that I didn’t have my monthly period cycles for years due to my obesity levels, even though my parents and I frequently had all my medical parameters checked. Very proud yet humbled to say that I now do. ”
Anandita's weight loss was primarily accomplished through a mix of exercise and an emphasis on healthy, balanced meals, rather than adhering to a specific diet.
She remarked, “I’m not on any diet. I haven’t visited any health specialist or nutritionist. I just used my common sense. I eat sensibly. I completely avoid all refined foods, including flour. From being someone who used to consume almost an entire packet of chocolate chip cookies for breakfast along with my morning coffee to now simply having my morning staple, one cup of coffee without any accompaniments since my wellness program started in August 2024, I’ve come a long way. ”
What weight loss diet does Anandita follow?
While Anandita adheres to a strict diet to preserve her physical appearance and assist her weight loss and overall health, she voiced her opposition to diet culture and highlighted the significance of sustainable lifestyle modifications over restrictive dieting.
She stated, “I don’t subscribe to starvation. I advocate for mindful eating and portion control. I also possess a determined personality, and when I desire something, I pursue it, just like when I aimed to reverse my type 2 diabetes. I succeeded in doing so in just under two months after commencing my wellness journey, which began in August 2024. Since then, I have resisted all forms of temptation. ”
Revealing specifics about the adjustments she has incorporated into her daily diet, she further mentioned: “I’m a chapati eater and I also avoid drenching them in any added oil, clarified butter, or ghee. I’ve attempted to embrace the latest trends of consuming millets such as jowhar (sorghum), bajra (pearl millet), and almond flour, but they don’t agree with me and I find them quite heavy on my stomach lining. I personally steer clear of any type of deep-fried food. No pasta or pizzas for me. I used to relish French fries, but I’ve stopped eating potatoes. I don’t indulge in any carbonated beverages. I’m entirely off alcohol, and it’s commonly known that sugar is the biggest culprit. If I truly crave something sweet, I treat myself to a fruit or an occasional date. Natural sugars now and then are fine! ”

What is Anandita's advice for individuals attempting to get fit? She feels that having a strong drive to shed pounds can lead to achievement. “Just maintain consistent adherence to your diet and exercise regimen. Personally, ever since I embarked on my wellness journey, I approach each day as it arrives, and that has benefited me immensely. One might not notice results right away, but I genuinely believe that if it sometimes requires time to achieve results, that implies it will be less probable to regain the weight lost in the future. My favorite saying to reference is ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’. Remain patient and faithfully adhere to a routine you’ve established for yourself. The body is an incredible instrument. Once you issue yourself daily commands, it's remarkable what extraordinary outcomes can be produced by this exceptional and unique asset,” Anandita stated.
What does Anandita eat in a day?
She mentioned, “For breakfast, I vary it (her morning coffee) – I might have fruits by themselves, half a cup of homemade oats without sugar, perhaps a small amount of salt or porridge, I might alternate it with a very lightly sautéed/no oil poha (flattened rice). I reiterate that it’s all about portion control. For dinner, I consume a lean meat protein, or chapati and possibly a vegetable prepared with little oil. ”
