But the truth is, hydration needs vary from person to person. Most healthy folks can stay well-hydrated by drinking water and other fluids.”

1. Staying hydrated is key for good digestion. If you don’t drink enough water, you might deal with issues like constipation, gas, bloating, heartburn, and other uncomfortable feelings that can really affect your day-to-day life.

2. Water helps break down the soluble fiber in your meals, keeping your digestive system running smoothly.

3. Mineral water can be a great choice, especially if it’s packed with sodium and magnesium, which can help replenish electrolytes lost through sweating.

1. Aim to sip on 8-10 glasses of water and some low-cal drinks like coconut water, diluted fruit punch, lemon juice, thin buttermilk, kanji, ORS, mineral water, herbal teas, flavored milk, vegetable soups, or broths between Suhoor and Iftar.

2. Make it a habit to have a glass of water or a drink before and after each prayer during Ramadan.

3. Regardless of your thirst level, try to drink a glass of water or a beverage every 30 minutes.

5. Make sure to munch on fruits and veggies that are high in water content when you break your fast and during meals.

6. Avoid foods that are overly salty, sweet, or spicy since they can make you feel thirstier.
