In one of her posts, she shared advice on "How to lose weight while loving your life," offering tips on staying committed to a weight loss journey without going overboard. Here are the helpful tips she provided:

Stop buying diet foods

Diet foods like salt-free rice cakes, fat-free yoghurt with artificial sweeteners, and highly processed protein bars often fail to keep you full and contain ingredients that may not be the best for your overall health. Instead, focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods such as full-fat cheese, red meat, and steel-cut oats. These foods are rich in the nutrients your body needs and will keep you satisfied longer while providing optimal nourishment.

Stop fixating on calories or macros

While staying in a calorie deficit is important for weight loss, obsessing over every calorie or macro is not a healthy approach. Instead, listen to your body's cues to determine which foods and portions make you feel good and keep you energized.

Stop over-exercising

Intense workouts like HIIT or running can leave you extra hungry afterwards, which can make it easy to overeat and undo your calorie-deficit efforts. Choose exercises that you enjoy and that don’t trigger excessive hunger. Walking is an excellent, low-impact option—aim for at least 5,000 steps a day. Yoga, Pilates, barre, and lightweight training are also great alternatives.

Stop obsessing over weight loss

When we focus too much on rapid weight loss, it often leads to extreme calorie cutting and over-exercising, both of which are unsustainable and can result in binge eating and weight regain. Instead, concentrate on gradually incorporating healthier habits, giving your body the time it needs to adjust, and being patient with your progress.

Stop complicating your meals

You don’t need to constantly try new, intricate recipes. There's no need to spend hours chopping vegetables or making salad dressings from scratch. Instead, find a simple, sustainable meal plan that works for you. Simplicity is key for consistency and long-term success.

Stop going it alone

The weight loss journey can be overwhelming at times. Don’t hesitate to lean on friends and family for support and encouragement to help you stay motivated.
