1 month ago | 5 Views
Has there ever been a time when you established a New Year's resolution at the start of the year, only to find yourself faltering a few weeks into January? Before long, that resolution may feel like a distant memory. A similar experience has been observed with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, a few challenging days do not signify her defeat.
‘If resolutions don't stick, that's no big deal’
On Thursday, Samantha posted a workout video showcasing various clips of her engaging in different exercises at the gym. The video opens with the actress resting in bed while the audio states, “Think a couple of bad days going to stop me?” She performed exercises such as ring pull-ups, weighted heel dips, kettlebell bent-over rows, dumbbell lateral arm raises, and dumbbell overhead shoulder presses. Clad in an olive green sports bra and yoga pants, Samantha executed the routine with precision.
‘Sometimes we rest, sometimes we push’
In addition to her workout, the actress provided some health insights along with a strong dose of motivational encouragement. The video starts with her admitting, “Two weeks into the new year, and your resolutions are already slipping? I can relate! This has occurred numerous times.” Nevertheless, a few obstacles should not deter anyone. “But remember, a few bad days do not mean we are finished. Sometimes we rest, sometimes we strive - that is simply how it unfolds,” Samantha remarked.
Samantha continued, “If resolutions do not hold, it is not a concern. This year, I am adopting a different approach. For the next few weeks, I will share some simple practices that have proven effective for me—small actions that seamlessly integrate into my daily routine and yield significant results over time. Perhaps they will benefit you as well.”
The actress recently disclosed that she had contracted chikungunya and is currently in recovery. Previously, in 2022, Samantha revealed her diagnosis of the autoimmune condition myositis.
