Mouni Roy advocates for a healthy lifestyle as a means to maintain her physique, rather than adhering to stringent diet regimens. What Mouni Roy eats in a day
During her conversation with Pinkvilla, Mouni elaborated on her morning practices, noting her preference for a consistent breakfast. Upon waking, she begins her day with water infused with turmeric, followed by hot water mixed with cinnamon powder within thirty minutes, and then engages in morning yoga. For breakfast, she typically consumes a small portion of poha accompanied by a bit of sprouts.
Following her breakfast, Mouni treats herself to a large cup of coffee, a habit she is attempting to reduce. Previously, she consumed three cups but has now limited herself to one, enhanced with one and a half scoops of hazelnut syrup. Her lunch consists of a traditional Bengali meal, featuring a bowl of rice along with an abundance of sabji and dal.
‘Make sure you soak the almonds in the water’
If she experiences hunger later, she opts for fruit. Her subsequent snack usually comprises a handful of dry fruits, which she considers an excellent source of vitamins and recommends for daily consumption. She advises soaking almonds in water for 5-6 hours, as it is healthier and removes the outer coating that is not beneficial.
Occasionally, Mouni varies her meal plan by ordering food online or selecting from what is available on set, including noodles or any spicy dishes. "When I am at home and feel particularly hungry before dinner, I enjoy a small serving of bhel, made with fried onions, a touch of chutney, cucumbers, and tomatoes," she mentioned. Finally, Mouni concluded that she wraps up her day with dinner and sometimes treats herself to the Bengali sweet, nolen gur sondesh, after lunch.
The actor stated that she relies on yoga and breathing exercises to maintain her physical fitness.
