In the video, Madhuri elaborated on her morning and evening skincare routines, offering valuable tips for maintaining healthy skin. Prior to outlining her specific steps for achieving a radiant complexion, she emphasized the significance of a balanced diet and adequate hydration as essential components of skincare. “All of this contributes to having healthy skin, along with how you wash and what you put on it…Drink lots of water to moisturise your skin and body,” she remarked.
1. Day skincare routine -
Madhuri's daily skincare regimen begins with the application of a quality cleanser, which is succeeded by a toner. The actress believes that rose water serves as the most effective toner for her complexion. "I have a fondness for rose water. Just ensure that you select a high-quality product," she remarked. Following these initial steps, she applies vitamin C, followed by a moisturizer and sun protection.
"For those with oily skin, a water-based moisturizer is advisable, while individuals with dry skin should opt for a richer, creamier moisturizer," she recommended.
2. Nighttime skincare routine -
Madhuri emphasized the significance of removing makeup at the end of the day, stating, "Many individuals have begun to incorporate makeup into their daily routines, whether for work or social outings. Therefore, it is crucial to thoroughly cleanse the face of all makeup." She recommended utilizing a cleansing balm to effectively massage the face and eliminate makeup, followed by rinsing with water.
Alternatively, the actress prefers using micellar water along with makeup wipes for makeup removal. "I apply micellar water to the wipes, ensuring that my face is completely free of makeup," she clarified. Subsequently, she employs a gentle cleanser to eliminate any residual dirt or makeup. Following the cleansing process, she applies a toner and a vitamin C serum. "I use the serum twice a day, although it can be omitted if desired," she noted.
After applying the serum, Madhuri incorporates a moisturizer and an under-eye cream to support the recovery of the under-eye area overnight. She concludes her nighttime skincare routine with a layer of lip balm.
