John Abraham mixes up his workout routine with various activities like gym sessions, cardio, and functional training to keep things fresh and avoid hitting a plateau or getting injured.
When asked how he stays motivated to keep fit every day, the actor, who celebrated his 52nd birthday on December 17, 2024, shared, “I’m pretty much agnostic... almost an atheist. My only belief is in taking care of myself. Your body is your temple, and it deserves attention. I’m not doing this out of vanity... I aim to be in a constant state of transformation, with maybe a 10-20 percent variation. I genuinely enjoy looking after myself. It’s not about needing a six-pack for a movie or anything like that. If I have it, awesome. If I’m fit, that’s great too.”
John Abraham works out at the gym every single day of the week
When the actor was asked if there’s ever been a day he didn’t feel like hitting the gym, he replied, “Honestly, Monday through Sunday, I’m there. If there’s an extra day in the week, maybe that’s the one I skip, but otherwise, I’m at the gym every day. Even if I’m dealing with a migraine or a slight fever, I’ll still work out, just with lighter weights. I won’t be reckless, but I’ll still show up for a workout to keep my sanity. There’s this unique community of people who really understand what I’m all about.”
