Janhvi Kapoor said she is allergic to gluten
The actress, who was occupied with her 2024 film Mr and Mrs Mahi at that time, remarked, “I am adhering to a strict diet. Currently, my breakfast consists solely of two eggs accompanied by avocado. For lunch, I have spinach paired with grilled chicken, and for dinner, I opt for soup. I enjoy having a delightful brunch... my preferred cuisines include Japanese, Italian, Andhra, and Mughlai.”
When inquired about her dietary restrictions, Janhvi mentioned that she strictly avoids gluten due to her allergy to it. A gluten-free diet entails the exclusion of foods that contain gluten, a protein present in certain grains like wheat.
In response to a question about her favourite healthy snacks or her indulgences on cheat days, Janhvi stated, “I have a fondness for fruits, despite their high sugar content. I particularly enjoy strawberries... I also like golgappas and ice cream.”

Janhvi expressed that she consumes a variety of foods but compensates by exercising more to maintain her weight. When inquired about her morning routine, she disclosed that she begins her day with a spoonful of ghee.
Additionally, when asked about her dinner habits and post-workout nutrition, she stated, “I prefer to keep my dinner light, often opting for red rice biryani. I aim to have my last meal by 10 PM, especially during late shoots. I go through different phases, and sweet potato paratha has become a significant part of my post-workout meals. Previously, I adhered to a strict no-carb diet; however, I have recently increased my carbohydrate intake for energy, and my weight has remained stable.”
