In a post entitled ‘How to lose 50 pounds in 6 months (naturally),’ Nadiya outlined three strategies that facilitated her natural weight loss. The first involved adhering to a calorie-deficit diet while meticulously tracking her food intake. She utilized a fitness application to monitor her caloric consumption and basal metabolic rate (BMR), which represents the number of calories required for her body to perform essential life-sustaining functions. She ensured her daily caloric intake did not exceed 1,600 calories, confidently stating, “The pounds will melt off.”

Nadiya kept track of her calorie intake during weight loss.

Additionally, Nadiya committed to walking 10,000 steps each day, using a fitness watch to keep track of her progress. She noted that a 45-minute walk at a speed of 3.0 miles per hour allowed her to achieve 5,000 steps, with the remaining steps accumulated through her regular daily activities. “Make it enjoyable with friends or podcasts,” she suggested.

She walked 10k steps daily and did a workout she enjoyed.

Finally, she encouraged her followers to discover a workout they genuinely enjoy and to engage in it consistently. Whether it be weight training, Pilates, yoga, running, or cardio, she emphasized the importance of finding a preferred exercise. “I prefer participating in fitness classes rather than working out at a conventional gym or at home,” Nadiya remarked. “Feeling strong and fit is more important than being ‘skinny fat,’” she added.

To inspire her audience, she concluded with the message, “Weight loss isn't easy, but it is straightforward and requires commitment to a few essential steps! I assure you that once you begin, you will feel incredible.”
