Implementing a comprehensive skincare regimen during this month can assist in preserving radiant and well-hydrated skin.”

Tips for healthy skin while fasting

1. Hydrate adequately: It is crucial to consume sufficient water before and after fasting, particularly during iftar. This practice helps maintain internal hydration, which in turn supports skin health. Additionally, incorporating hydrating foods such as cucumbers and watermelon can be beneficial.

Drinking enough water can help you detoxify, boost digestion, improve the quality of your skin and hair and help you feel well-balanced.

2. Regular moisturization: Applying a substantial amount of moisturizer during fasting can help retain skin hydration. Choose lightweight yet deeply hydrating moisturizers. Using them post-cleansing can mitigate severe dryness. Look for products containing hyaluronic acid and glycerin to ensure moisture retention throughout the day.
