She further explained, “Once pregnancy is achieved, there is a heightened risk of preterm birth and chromosomal disorders, including Down syndrome, all of which require vigilant monitoring. Pre-existing conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, and obesity can intensify these difficulties.”

Although there are challenges, conceiving in your 30s is certainly achievable. Dr. Anjali Nain emphasized the importance of ensuring a healthy and low-risk pregnancy. She stated, "Adopting similar lifestyle changes, such as refraining from smoking and alcohol consumption, as well as minimizing exposure to environmental toxins, can greatly improve reproductive health. It is highly advisable to seek guidance from a fertility specialist for preconception care. Contemporary medical options, including IVF, egg freezing, and genetic testing, offer advanced solutions for individuals encountering fertility issues."
