Face Yoga Coach Warns: Skip These 3 Neck Massages, and Your Skin Will Age 10x Faster

Parmita Katkar is a 'face yoga and self-image coach. ' In an Instagram video she shared on April 19, she introduced three face yoga and neck massages that may help enhance facial appearance and diminish signs of aging. She also provided some advice to help prevent puffiness and sagging, as well as to achieve a wrinkle-free neck.

Here are three neck massages to try

In her post titled 'your face will age 10 times faster without these 3 neck massages,' she stated: “So when your neck begins to age in the center, notice that it occurs because the skin is sagging. When your face starts to sag, that's when you begin to see all your facial features drawing inward; it sags from the outside. Thus, when this occurs, you will notice your neck appearing like this (shows a wrinkly neck). Therefore, make a fist, you have the oil already (applied on the neck); press the fist against your neck, you can see how my wrist came in and my hands moved out. ”

Focusing on the double chin, Parmita demonstrated another exercise. She mentioned, “Now, if your three fingers can fit in here (between your ear and jawline), then your jawline is relaxed. There is no tension; the muscles are in a released state. If you can't fit in, that indicates it is tight. So first, just release it a bit and grasp this area (points to her chin) and release. Perform 20 pumps on each side. If at any point you feel like you are swallowing something, be conscious of what’s happening in your face, in your neck, in your throat. ”

Parmita added, “The last exercise for the neck is very straightforward. Wherever we have horizontal wrinkles, we apply vertical massage. Therefore, if the wrinkles are horizontal, we are not pinching them horizontally to create deeper wrinkles. Go vertical. ”

She mentioned in her caption, “Your face appears older… but the actual issue lies with your neck. Many women concentrate on lifting their face —
but if your neck isn’t supporting it, the sagging, puffiness, and drooping will continually be noticeable. ”

Parmita stated, “Here’s what occurs when you neglect neck exercises:
skin sinks inward from the sides, jawline loses its form, wrinkles become more pronounced, puffiness remains stagnant. Your face and neck function as a single interconnected unit. If the foundation is weak, your outcomes won’t endure — regardless of how many tools or creams you use. . . keep in mind, you are not trying to 'press' anything — you’re encouraging flow and easing tension. ”

Whether for vibrant, healthy skin or relaxed face and neck muscles, facial workouts should be incorporated into your health routine.
