In a previous discussion with Dr. Jayshree Sundar, director of gynecology and obstetrics at Madhukar Rainbow Hospital, she recommended physical activity as a means to alleviate menstrual cramps. The doctor explained, "Engaging in exercise during menstruation can reduce pain and cramps by enhancing blood circulation. It accelerates the shedding of the endometrial lining, which may lead to a more consistent flow for individuals experiencing spotting. Following a workout, the release of endorphins improves blood flow, allowing muscles to generate more energy."
