Sabja seeds, commonly referred to as basil seeds, are a highly nutritious superfood that has gained significant popularity among health-conscious individuals. These seeds are rich in nutrients and can positively impact gut health. The optimal way to consume them is by soaking the seeds beforehand. However, have you ever considered the effects of soaking sabja seeds for an entire week?

In a video titled "What happens when you eat sabja?" posted on Instagram on April 2, dietitian Shweta J Panchal, who holds an MSc in clinical nutrition, discussed the advantages of consuming sabja seed water for seven days.

2. For those undergoing menopause and struggling with hot flashes, particularly during the summer months, incorporating sabja seeds into your diet can provide some relief.

3. Due to their cooling properties, sabja seeds can also help prevent heatstroke.

4. Furthermore, they assist in managing diabetes, regulating blood sugar levels, and supporting weight management.
