This week, two Tamil films are poised to make their debut on the big screen: "Dragon," featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, and "Nilavu Enmel Enadi Kobam," directed by Dhanush. Both films are expected to bring a vibrant energy to audiences. Recently, Silambarasan took to social media to commend "Dragon," which is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, who is also set to direct STR 51. In a similar vein, Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the filmmaker behind "Lubber Pandhu," expressed his admiration for Dhanush’s film "NEEK," further fueling speculation regarding a potential collaboration with the actor.

STR praises Dragon; Dhanush is lauded for NEEK

Silambarasan has confirmed his partnership with Ashwath Marimuthu for STR 51. As anticipation builds for the release of "Dragon," the actor praised the film on social media, labeling it a “blockbuster.” This endorsement has heightened interest in "Dragon," which is scheduled for release on February 21. The film features Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, alongside Anupama Parameswaran, Myskin, Gautham Menon, and others.

In related news, Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, director of "Lubber Pandhu," lauded another Tamil film set to premiere on Friday. He took to social media to commend Dhanush’s "NEEK," stating, “Watched #NEEK. The movie was filled with energetic moments and felt incredibly refreshing. The depiction of love and friendship was both raw and genuine, reminiscent of the vibes from 'Thiruchitrambalam.'”

Lubber Pandhu director to work with Dhanush?

This praise has intensified speculation regarding a potential project between Dhanush and Tamizharasan, although no official announcement has been made yet. Tamizharasan’s directorial debut, "Lubber Pandhu," was both critically acclaimed and commercially successful last year.

"NEEK" features a talented cast, including Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. "Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam" is both written and directed by Dhanush, marking his third directorial effort following "Pa Paandi" and "Raayan." The music for the film.
