Actor Salman Khan expressed his enthusiastic support for his nephew Ayaan Agnihotri during the launch of Ayaan's new track, Universal Laws, in Dubai. The event saw the presence of notable figures including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi, and Salman did not hesitate to mention the topic of nepotism. A video capturing Salman’s remarks on stage has recently gained traction on Reddit.

What Salman said

In the widely viewed video, Salman shared the stage with Ayaan at the song launch, which was hosted by DJ Bliss from Dubai Bling. As he commended Ayaan and the Khan family for their unwavering support, Salman humorously remarked, “That's what nepotism is!” His playful comment elicited laughter from the audience, including Ayaan, who stood beside him.

Salman further noted, “His (Ayaan) parents are accomplished producers. Both children, Alizeh and Ayaan.” The audience responded with cheers as he proceeded to unveil the song. Ayaan is the son of Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, with Alvira being Salman’s sister.

Their previous collaboration

In their previous collaboration, Salman and Ayaan worked together on the song You are Mine, which featured Salman alongside Ayaan, who performed the rap segments. The track was composed by Vishal Mishra.

On the professional front, Salman is set to appear in the upcoming film Sikandar. A new poster for the film was released recently, showcasing Salman in an action-oriented role alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj. Directed by AR Murugadoss, known for his work in both Tamil and Hindi cinema, the film is slated for theatrical release on Eid 2025.
