The producer of Marco, Shereef Mohammed, had previously indicated that scenes excluded from the final theatrical version, including those featuring actor Riyaz Khan, would be part of the film's extended OTT release. However, fans expressed their disappointment upon discovering that these scenes were absent when the movie premiered on Sony LIV on February 13.
In response to the fans' outcry on social media, the filmmakers have now made available an action sequence featuring Riyaz Khan in the role of a police officer.

Where to watch Marco deleted scene featuring Riyaz Khan
Riyaz Khan, who recently appeared in Sajin Gopu and Anaswara Rajan’s Painkili, had mentioned that he filmed scenes in Marco showcasing Unni Mukundan’s titular character in a different light.
In line with his statement, the deleted scene released on YouTube by the filmmakers depicted Marco’s earlier life, prior to his exile. It featured a moment where he and his girlfriend, portrayed by Yukti Thareja, storm into a police station to confront the officers who refused to assist her in her case of sexual harassment.
Unni Mukundan shared the video link, affirming that the filmmakers have fulfilled their promise by releasing this scene on YouTube, describing it as “a fight scene with no excessive violence.” He emphasized their commitment to honoring their promises while clarifying that they cannot be held accountable for misinformation that is beyond their control. This explanation addressed why certain sequences, such as the dismemberment of the antagonist in the climax, were not included in the OTT version, despite earlier speculation.

Marco OTT release
The Haneef Adeni-directed film, which has grossed over Rs 115 Cr globally, is currently available for streaming on Sony LIV in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The Hindi version of the film has yet to be released on an OTT platform, even though it debuted alongside the Malayalam version in theaters on December 20.
Unni Mukundan's upcoming film is titled Get Set Baby, directed by Vinay Govind, and features Nikhila Vimal among the cast members.
