"2024 mein aayega toh Zakir hi," an announcement is made in the video shared by the makers. He is described as 'maa ka laadla,' 'tau ka chela,' 'doston ka dost,' and 'dushmano ka... bhi dost.'

In his promise, Zakir says he won't get rid of poverty or help with employment. He however guarantees happiness, entertainment and says, "Sab ka dil jeet lunga, from baccha to dada."
Details of Zakir Khan’s new show
The announcement is for Aapka Apna Zakir, a comedy show hosted by Zakir Khan. The same will be available from August 10. It will stream on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium over the weekends (Saturday-Sunday) at 9.30 pm.
Zakir Khan’s popular projects
Zakir has released various stand-up specials on Amazon Prime Video over the years. He has also collaborated with AIB (Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Gursimranjeet Singh Khamba and Ashish Shakya). Two shows that he is popular for are Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare (three seasons out) and Comicstaan (featured in two seasons). In the former, Zakir plays the role of Ronny Pathak. The show also features Alka Amin and Zakir Hussain.
Khan joined Comicstaan in the second season and was the judge along with Kenny Sebastian, Kaneez Surka, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Sumukhi Suresh, Neeti Palta and Kusha Kapila. Although Kenny has remained on the show since the start, Kanan, Kaneez and Biswa were a part in the first two seasons. Sumukhi and Neeti were with Zakir from the second to third season of the stand-up comedy special reality show.
Zakir was also a part of Farzi Mushaira, for which he was the host as well as the writer. The show is out on Amazon MiniTV.
