Kannada actor Yash has officially announced the release date for his eagerly awaited film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups. The movie is scheduled to premiere in theaters on March 19, 2026, paving the way for an exciting box office showdown. Toxic will compete with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Love & War, featuring stars such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.
Yash reveals the release date of Toxic
On Saturday, the actor announced the film's release date on Instagram, accompanied by a new poster. In his post, Yash stated, "19-03-2026."
This release date strategically aligns with multiple festive occasions, allowing the action film to benefit from a four-day extended weekend throughout India. The festivals of Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Chaitra Navratri coincide with the release, while Eid-al-Fitr celebrations are set to follow on March 20/21.
The poster showcases Yash dressed in a stylish all-black outfit, walking through the rain with a gun in hand. The striking image is enhanced by a dramatic backdrop of flames, creating an intense atmosphere from which Yash emerges.
Notably, Yash's Toxic will be competing against his Ramayana co-star Ranbir Kapoor at the box office. Presently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is set to premiere on March 20, 2026. The details of the film's plot remain undisclosed at this time.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, this film is being produced in both Kannada and English to attract a worldwide audience. It aims to showcase talent from both Indian and international cinema. To enhance its accessibility, the film will be dubbed into Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and various other languages. The production is a collaboration between Venkat K. Narayana and Yash, under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
