Rocking Star Yash is very clear that the success and stardom he enjoys today is a result of his steadfast zeal to accomplish the vision he had about his career. He never gave up on his dreams, even when no one else believed in them, something he says, he was able to pursue with such passion because of the firm support he had from family, especially his wife, Radhika Pandit.

Yash: All that Radhika asks is if I am happy with my choices

Yash reckons he struck lucky having Radhika as his partner and admits he’s not the easiest person to live with. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Yash spoke at length about being able to take ‘crazy’ career decisions because Radhika never questioned his motive. “Radhika has been my biggest strength and always supported me, even when I spent a lot of time making KGF. She knows what I really enjoy. In fact, she has never asked how much money we made from these films. It doesn’t matter whether my choice was good or bad, all that she asks is if I’m happy,” he said.

Radhika’s only expectation from Yash is “attention and time”, both of which have been difficult for him given his hectic schedule, either making the KGF series, or putting Toxic together. Without someone like Radhika having his back, Yash reckons it would have been difficult for a crazy person like him to risk whatever he has in the pursuit of his next goal or passion.

There is no pressure from his family to play it safe. “All of them want me to do things the way I want and to enjoy myself in the process,” he adds. Yash says that every time he makes a career decision, Radhika’s only question is how long it will keep him away from his family; if there are foreign schedules, etc.
