Yash Yet to Start 'Ramayana' with Ranbir, Focused on Wrapping Up 'Toxic'

Fans are keenly anticipating the appearance of KGF star Yash in his forthcoming projects. Recent reports suggested that Yash had completed filming for Toxic and had commenced work on Ramayana. However, a report from India Today, citing sources close to the actor, has clarified that Yash remains dedicated to the filming of Toxic and has not yet started the production of Ramayana.

Yash still shooting for Toxic

The report indicated that Yash is presently in Bengaluru for the filming of Toxic. The statement noted, “He will focus on finishing the Toxic shoot prior to beginning work on Ramayana. As a co-producer of both projects, he intends to devote his complete attention to each film in succession.”

Additionally, it stated, “His primary emphasis is on Toxic, ensuring its filming is completed before moving on to the monumental Ramayana. He will conclude the Toxic project before entering the expansive realm of Ramayana, with plans to start shooting for Ramayana in the upcoming months.”

About Toxic

Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups represents Yash's first project following the success of KGF: Chapter 2. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is a collaborative production between KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. A teaser for the film was unveiled last month in celebration of the actor's birthday, showcasing him smoking a cigar as he enters an upscale nightclub named Paraiiso, dressed in a white suit and fedora. The release date for Toxic has not yet been disclosed by the producers.

In other news, the pre-production phase of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is reportedly progressing rapidly. Earlier this year, a leaked image from the film's set featuring Ranbir and Sai in their costumes gained significant attention on social media. Although the film's team has not yet issued an official statement, there has been considerable excitement surrounding the project. The producers are targeting a release in 2025.
