This decline is atypical for a film featuring Salman Khan; however, given the changes in the promotional strategy for Sikandar, such a drop was somewhat anticipated. Salman had hoped for greater backing from his colleagues in Bollywood for his Eid release.

In reciprocation, Salman not only informed his fans about the release of Jaat but also expressed his enthusiasm for Mohanlal's Empuraan, which premiered in theaters two days prior to Sikandar.

As Salman raised concerns about the lack of support for Sikandar from his Bollywood colleagues, an earlier statement from his interview with Filmfare has gained significant attention. Ajay had remarked, "While we may not frequently meet in person, we maintain communication. In fact, everyone is just a phone call away. We offer support to each other when necessary. Regrettably, Salman has now highlighted that his Eid release did not receive the anticipated word-of-mouth promotion from his fellow Bollywood actors.
