Kishore, an accomplished actor, acknowledges that while acting is his primary source of income, he is resolute in ensuring that his professional choices do not lead to discomfort for others. In a recent promotional interview for his forthcoming Kannada film, Anamadheya Ashok Kumar, Kishore engaged in a conversation with Kairam Vaashi, during which he emphasized the importance of a comfortable work environment. He further articulated that collaborating with individuals who hold differing ideologies would make him feel noticeably uneasy.

Kishore emphasizes that filmmakers with varying ideologies have consistently approached him without attempting to sway his perspective, demonstrating respect for his individuality and decisions. He further mentioned that he recently turned down a role in the forthcoming Hindi historical film Chhaava. Kishore was offered the part of Aurangzeb, which has since been assigned to Akshaye Khanna.

Kishore: Chhaava aims at a specific minority group; I disapprove of it

“It is fundamentally a propaganda film; upon hearing the narrative, I recognized this. I chose to decline the role of Aurangzeb because I found it unappealing. My rationale was that if they intend to portray history, can they do so authentically, allowing audiences to perceive it as history and nothing more? Both aspects are unfeasible, indicating that they are indeed targeting a particular minority community. Why should I, either knowingly or unknowingly, participate in such a divisive endeavour?” he explains.

Kishore expresses his conviction that the support of his audience throughout his two-decade career has enabled him to conduct himself as a responsible individual. Consequently, he does not perceive any obligation to engage in work that may cause distress to certain groups, whether for financial gain or to promote another's agenda. He stated, "I was not a part of the film and I am pleased with that decision."
