Actor Shantanu Maheshwari, the dynamo who burst into Bollywood with Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022, is back with another bang. His latest film, the romantic drama, the Ajay Devgn-starrer—Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, finally released on August 2, after being a talk of the town for months. The film has already captured millions of hearts and garnered Rs. 3.21 crore at the box office till now. Keeping aside the success, the 33-year-old actor has shared some lovely moments from his life with Ajay Devgn.

Today in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, the Campus Beats-actor stated that he feels quite lucky to get a second chance to work with Devgn, after Gangubai Kathiawadi. He spoke highly about the 55-year-old actor and shared a beautiful moment with his fans.

Shantanu recalled the moment when Ajay Devgn handed over the Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi trophy to him in 2017, and from that very moment he has been looking forward to working with Devgn. It was quite surprising yet overwhelming for him when Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave him the chance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. He feels some kind of karmic connection with Ajay Devgn.

The Tooth Pari-actor is seen as the younger version of Ajay Devgn’s character Krishna in the latest romantic drama. Maheshwari further talked highly about Devgn and said, “I honestly think that he is one of the few superstars in our industry who has been versatile with his choices of projects. It brings credibility to all his films. I really admire his choice of work. To be associated with him is truly an honour.”
