However, with the announcement of Ram Charan's highly anticipated film Game Changer entering the same festive window, the release of Vishwambhara has been postponed. Recent reports suggest that producers V. Ramakrishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy are eyeing a new release date of April 10, 2025.

The film, directed by Vasshista Mallidi, promises to be a socio-fantasy spectacle featuring stunning visuals and a gripping narrative. The teaser released during Dussehra showcased Chiranjeevi in a superhero-like role, complete with breathtaking landscapes and intense action sequences. Alongside him, Trisha Krishnan stars as the female lead, adding to the film's star power.

Interestingly, another major player in the Telugu film industry, Prabhas, is also gearing up for his film Raja Saab, which is set to release in the second week of April. Despite both films sharing a similar timeframe, many believe that they will not directly compete due to their distinct narratives and target audiences. Vishwambhara, being produced by UV Creations—a subsidiary of Prabhas—might even benefit from this unique positioning in the market.
