It has been confirmed that Ed Sheeran will be joining forces with the renowned Arijit Singh for his forthcoming album, much to the delight of fans who are excited about the collaboration of these two iconic artists.

During a recent interview with Heart, a commercial radio station in the UK, Ed was inquired about any unexpected collaborations that listeners might anticipate in his new album. He revealed that Arijit would be featured on the project.

"I collaborated extensively with this talented Indian artist, Arijit Singh, who is truly exceptional. He resides in a remote area of India, which requires a three-hour flight followed by a five-and-a-half-hour drive to reach him. While I was in India with my father, Arijit mentioned that if I wanted his vocals, I would need to come to him," Ed shared in the interview.

Fans call Arijit x Ed ‘epic’

Since the announcement was made, fans have been expressing their excitement. One individual remarked, "Two of the greatest artists are joining forces. I feel so lucky to be part of this." Another user shared, "My prayers have been answered; I was hoping for a collaboration between Arijit and Ed, and it's finally happening! I'm thrilled!" Ed Sheeran and Arijit's famous scooter ride

In February, Ed Sheeran visited India during his The Mathematics Tour, making a stop in Jiaganj, the hometown of Arijit Singh, located in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. The two artists took a scooter ride together in the evening, surprising many residents who were taken aback to see their beloved singers without any security detail.

"It felt like a pilgrimage with my dad. We spent nearly an entire day traveling to his village, and then he (Arijit) took us around on mopeds through his community. It truly was a delightful day," Ed recounted in an interview.
