Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are one of the influential couples in the industry. The pair fell in love while filming their movie Tashan. In January 2022, during a discussion with Twinkle Khanna for Tweak India, Kareena disclosed that Akshay Kumar had cautioned Saif about pursuing a relationship with her.

Kareena shared how some form of karmic bond drew her and Saif together, since they were always meant to work on a few films together that never materialized due to her consistent rejection of them. Nonetheless, when they worked together in Tashan, chemistry ignited between them. Akshay, who was also part of the film, advised Saif to be cautious about Kareena.

When Akshay gave Saif Ali Khan a heads-up about Kareena Kapoor

Kareena remembered, “Saif and Akshay were conversing and Akshay sort of picked up on the vibe that Saif and I were, in a way, connecting. Akshay pulled Saif into a corner and said, listen, be careful. Because they are perilous girls and this is a risky family and I am aware of them. So be cautious. ” She continued, “He was implying, don’t really mess with her, that was his vibe to him — that he was trying to convey that, you know, you are approaching the wrong person. Saif responded, no, no, I understand that, you know, I’ve figured her out. ”

The romance between Saif and Kareena

When Saif and Kareena were filming for Tashan in Ladakh, the two developed feelings for each other. In 2007, they publicly acknowledged their relationship. At an event in Mumbai, Saif spoke up, revealing his affection for Kareena. When questioned about whether they were in a relationship, Saif responded, “We are here together. Yes, we are together, and that is what I am comfortable saying at the moment. Yes, there has been too much attention lately. . . That is fair enough. We are not shouting from the rooftop (about the relationship), but we are together and happy. ”

After being in a relationship for five years, the pair got married in 2012 in a private wedding ceremony. They welcomed two sons – Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan (also known as Jeh) – in 2016 and 2021 respectively. Kareena frequently posts affectionate photos with Saif from their trips, providing significant couple goals.
