Wendy Williams Foresees Diddy's Fate: "He Will End Up in Prison for Life"

Wendy Williams is making waves again and she's as straightforward as always, sharing her views on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs' current legal issues during a candid chat on The Breakfast Club Thursday morning. The ex-talk show host, famous for her unfiltered opinions, didn’t shy away from expressing her thoughts on the latest twists in the music mogul’s drama.

Wendy Williams talks about Diddy's time behind bars

During her interview, Williams made a bold prediction, saying, “Diddy is going to prison for life, folks. You have no idea what I know about him from back in the day,” as reported by Page Six. She went on to say, “Honestly, it’s about time, people. It’s about time. Diddy is done.”

Diddy was arrested in September 2024 in New York City on serious charges like sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution, but he has pleaded not guilty to everything. Even after several attempts to get bail, the 55-year-old music mogul is still behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

As his legal issues grew, an old clip from The Wendy Williams Show popped up again, where Williams expressed her worries about the rapper's controlling nature towards his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Back then, she remarked, “When you date a mogul, it’s tough to escape them because you never know when they’ll show up.”

She added, “He’s a mogul! He could hire a plane right now, fly it to South Africa, land on the hotel roof where she’s staying, pay off the front desk staff, and say, ‘Give me the key to her room,’” which would definitely make her feel “paranoid.”

Williams rejects the idea that he has any cognitive issues

Williams described her 2017 interview as a “full circle moment,” reflecting on the past feud with Diddy. In her 2004 memoir, The Wendy Williams Experience, she claimed that the music mogul “single-handedly tried to ruin her career” by influencing her exit from the Hot 97 radio show. She recalled, “The hell he put me through. I will never forget. But I don’t hate him.”

In addition to discussing Diddy, she shared her feelings of being “trapped” in a New York facility that she compared to “prison.” A court appointed a guardian for her in 2022, but Williams insisted she isn’t “cognitively impaired.” She added, “I am definitely isolated. I sit here, and my life goes by.”
