For a few days, there have been reports that Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome To The Jungle has been shelved. There reports started doing rounds on the internet after the announcement video from Jio Cinemas' official YouTube challen was removed. However, the makers of the film have now confirmed that all these rumours are not true as they shared an unseen picture from the shoot of the film.

The makers of Welcome To The Jungle shared a never-before-seen picture on their social media account and put all the rumours about the film being shelved to rest. The film has already finished the Marathon schedule of August in Mumbai and Kashmir and is all set for their International Marathon schedule in October. It is also to be noted that 70% of the shoot of the film is now completed.
The director of the film, Ahmed Khan, also addressed the recent media reports and said, "There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on track and we are kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally from October for which my technical team has already left for the first recce."

Along with Akshay Kumar, the film also features, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani. Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor, who were said to be part of the film are not a part of the film anymore.
Produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah and directed by Ahmed Khan, ‘Welcome To The Jungle,’ is presented by Base Industries Group. The film is the third installment of the multi-starrer franchise. The first film in the franchise, 'Welcome', was released in 2007 and the second film 'Welcome Back' was released in the year 2015.
