Priyanka Chopra, who recently attended her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding festivities in Mumbai, got emotional as she left the city. The global star graced her presence at the Hastakshar ceremony of her sibling Siddharth Chopra with Neelam Upadhyaya. Fans were overwhelmed to see PeeCee in her elegant yet glam avatar at the wedding event and dropped hearts on her new social media posts. A few hours ago, the actress shared a recent update on her Instagram stories to give fans a heads-up about her departure as she jets off the city with a special video message.

Bollywood’s beloved ‘Desi Girl’ is going back to the States after a short visit to India for her brother’s wedding festivities with fiancé Neelam Upadhyaya. Taking to her Instagram stories, the Bajirao Mastani actress shared a glimpse of her going away video. On Tuesday (August 27), Priyanka almost made fans sentimental with her sweet ‘Alvida Mumbai’ video message.

In the video, Priyanka is seen bidding goodbye to Mumbai. Sharing a video against the backdrop of an airplane window, she penned in the caption, "See u soon, Mumbai," along with folded hands and heart emojis.  

Siddharth and Neelam’s engagement ceremony

Priyanka Chopra returned to India to celebrate her brother’s engagement ceremony with his love, Neelam Upadhyaya. The Agneepath actress also shared a glimpse of the close-knit family function in the presence of the respective families of the bride and groom-to-be. 

The hastakshar and ring ceremony event at Priyanka’s Mumbai home was graced by close friends and family. In a video clip shared by Priyanka, the couple is seen flaunting their engagement rings and enjoying their special moment. Priyanka is also immersed in the family moment, as she gave her blessings to the new couple while posing with her loved ones for lifetime memories. The wedding event was more special as it occurred on the birthday of Priyanka’s late father.   

Sharing the carousel Instagram post, Priyanka wrote, “And they did it. With the blessings of their parents, friends, and families, on our dad’s birthday. Their hastakshar and ring ceremony”  

For the special family event, Priyanka Chopra dazzled in a magenta saree adorned with shimmer and a designer blouse. She complemented her chique style with a pearl choker and matching earrings. In a carousel of pictures, Priyanka exuded classy vibes as she looked gorgeous in a traditional yet modern style. Dropping the pictures, she wrote in the caption, "Berries and cream."
