Mahira Khan presented an ideal gift to her fans in celebration of Eid. Her most recent post on Instagram amused her followers greatly. In this post, she recreated the famous reporting video of Chand Nawab at a railway station.

Mahira appeared stunning in a red salwar suit as she positioned herself near a railway station, microphone in hand. She mimicked the style of journalist Chand Nawab's Eid report from the original video. In a similar fashion, her reporting was disrupted by an unexpected passerby who intruded during the shoot, leading to her visible annoyance, reminiscent of the original footage.

In her caption, Mahira stated: “Eid is approaching, and we had a shoot at the train station, so it’s essential to recreate the Chand Nawab moment.”

In response to the reel, one fan remarked, “15 years later, it remains relevant.” Another fan expressed, “We had no idea we needed this.” A different comment stated, “This is the BEST thing on the internet today.” A fan added, “It’s too good and incredibly cute.”

In the 2015 film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, featuring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrayed a Pakistani journalist inspired by the real-life reporter Chand Nawab.

On another note, Mahira made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the film Raees, directed by Rahul Dholakia. This movie, which also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a significant role, achieved considerable success at the box office, grossing ₹281.45 crore globally. Most recently, the actor appeared in The Legend of Maula Jatt, which has become the highest-grossing Punjabi film in history.
