This marked her first public outing since the birth of her daughter, Dua Padukone Singh. In one clip shared on Instagram, both Diljit and the audience erupted in cheers as Deepika made her entrance. The actor greeted the crowd with a wave, bowed her head, and folded her hands in a gesture of respect. She also embraced Diljit and shared a brief dance with him on stage.

Deepika teaches Diljit Kannada

Another video captured Deepika instructing Diljit on a sentence in Kannada, which he enthusiastically repeated to the delight of the audience. He expressed his admiration for her, stating, "Kitna payara inhone kaam kiya hai. Humne inko bade parde par dekha hai. Kabhi socha na tha ki itni paas se dekhne ko milenge. Itne pyaare aur apne dum pe jinhone jagah banai hai Bollywood mein," which translates to her remarkable contributions to cinema and how he never imagined he would see her so closely.
