Yoshimasa Hosaya, the renowned Japanese voice actor known for his roles as Reiner Braun in Attack on Titan, Asahi Azumane in Haikyu, and Tsukoyomi/Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia, announced his marriage on Monday through social media. On March 10, he shared this joyful news with his followers on his X/Twitter account. Fans, including otakus and other supporters, came together to extend their congratulations to the voice actor.

In a statement released on X, he expressed, “I must apologize for the personal nature of this announcement, but I, Hosoya Yoshimasa, am pleased to share that I have recently entered into marriage.

As reported by Anime News Network’s English translation of the announcement, Yoshimasa Hosoya further remarked, “My passion for theatre began during my student years, and I have been fortunate to continue my career thanks to the support and connections I have cultivated over time.

"I am committed to working diligently while cherishing the relationships I have with my supporters and collaborators. I kindly request your ongoing support in the future.”

Anime voice actors give their good wishes

Actress Megumi Han, known for her roles as Gon Freecss in Hunter x Hunter, Homare Todo in The Blue Exorcist, young Kafka Hibino in Kaiju No 8, and Kana Arima in Oshi No Ko, among other prominent characters in various anime series, expressed her excitement in a comment on the tweet: “Hosomasa-san, Congratulations!!! Congratulations!!! Congratulations!!!”
