Internet reacts
The emergence of a video depicting two men engaged in a brawl amidst a crowd has sparked a wave of ironic humour across social media platforms. One Instagram user quipped, “Viva la VIVAAD,” cleverly referencing Coldplay's well-known song, Viva La Vida, which played in the background. Another user humorously remarked, “Yellow (incorrect emoji) yeh lo (punch and correct emoji),” alluding to Coldplay's track Yellow.
A third comment read, “The fight will guide you home,” echoing the lyrics “Lights will guide you home” from the same song. A fourth user chimed in with, “Sky Full of Scars (laughing with tears emoji),” making a nod to another Coldplay hit, A Sky Full Of Stars. Additionally, one user humorously noted, “When uncle took Fix You seriously,” playing on the title of Coldplay's song Fix You. Another comment asked, “Yeh concert me Heavy Metal Scream koun kar raha hai?” (Who's doing Heavy Metal screams during the concert?), about a woman's screams during the altercation.
One user commented, “This is what happens when you overhype a concert and people who have zero interest enter concerts like these.” Another added, “They may have the biggest concert, but at least this didn't happen in the Mumbai concert.” A third user expressed disapproval, stating, “They should be ashamed. Fighting at a concert like Coldplay, where the aim is to spread love.” A fourth user recounted the incident: “I was literally beside them, and that uncle had lost it… he was yelling at two girls for smoking and kept insisting he would call the police, pushing them, and a few guys intervened to stop him, but the old man ended up hitting one of them for no apparent reason.”
